## What the IP Quality Check API does

IP Quality Check evaluates an IP address and returns its Autonomous System Number, ISP, geographic location and any indicators of malicious activity associated with it.

The risk indicators are the operative output. An address associated with a VPN, proxy, hosting provider or known abuse is a meaningful signal, particularly when a customer's stated location contradicts where the connection appears to originate.
