What the DIN Verify API does
DIN Verify returns a fuller director record: personal details, the current status of the DIN, and the entities the individual is linked to. It accepts a PAN, DIN or KID as the lookup key.
The linked entities view is what makes this valuable for due diligence. Seeing every company an individual is involved with exposes group structures and conflicts that a single-company check would never reveal.

Which identifier should I use?
Whichever you have. PAN is often easiest since it is collected anyway; DIN is the most direct.
