OCR DL reads a driving licence image and returns the essential fields: licence number, holder name, date of birth, issue and expiry dates and the vehicle classes covered.
Driving licence layouts differ by state, which makes manual entry slow and inconsistent. Structured extraction gives you the same fields regardless of which state issued the licence.

No. Use Driving License or DL Advanced to confirm the extracted number against transport department records.
Does it handle every state's format?
It covers the common formats across states. Unusual or heavily worn cards may return partial fields.
Can it read both sides?
Submit each side separately. The reverse typically carries endorsements and address details not printed on the front.
